1. Hocus Pocus (1993)

A classic Halloween movie filled with all the charm of the 90’s, Hocus Pocus follows the story of Thackery Binx, a boy that was cursed to become an immortal black cat by 3 witches who eat children to maintain their own immortality. Hundreds of years later, a group of kids release the witches back into present day and must work alongside Thackery to break the curse before their siblings and other children get eaten.

2. Coraline

11-year-old Coraline isn’t too thrilled about her new home in her new boring town, until she stumbles upon a secret door that houses an exciting parallel universe that makes her new home seem a lot less dull. 4. Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island

Scooby-Doo and the whole mystery gang reunite to embark on yet another adventure. After visiting a store, the gang runs into Lena who tells them about Moonscar Island that’s haunted by the ghost of a pirate. It’s not long before the whole mystery crew is solving another case, but it’s not just zombie pirates they have to worry about – it’s immortal cats, too!

5. Kiki’s Delivery Service

If spooky isn’t your speed, but charming animated films filled with Halloween charm are, then following Kiki’s adventures will be your perfect fix. Directed by renowned Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki, Kiki’s Delivery Service is the story about a young witch-in-training named Kiki who wants to make a living for herself. Partnered with her trusted talking cat Jiji, Kiki flies across her new town making deliveries and encountering a colorful cast of characters along the way. Not every delivery is ‘smooth flying’, though!
