Peanut Butter Honey Hearts for Your Honey

Just because your pup can't enjoy that big box of chocolates and bottle of wine with you, doesn't mean they should miss out on getting something sweet this Valentine's Day! These peanut butter honey hearts are a great way to treat your furry friend to a special something, straight from the heart! 

What You'll Need:

1. Heart-shaped cookie cutter
2. 1½ tablespoons canola oil
3. 2 tablespoons smooth, natural peanut butter
4. 2 tablespoons honey
5. ¾ teaspoons baking powder
6. 1 egg
7. 1 cup whole wheat flour

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl
3. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface and roll out to about half an inch thick
4. Cut treats with a heart-shaped cookie cutter and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet
5. Bake for 10 minutes, or until treats are firm to the touch
6. Allow about 45 mins for treats to cool and harden
7. Enjoy!
