Duties and Responsibilities

• Weighing powder for machine operator
• Assisting in unloading machine
• Inspecting quality of finished goods
• Moving and labeling finished goods
• Maintaining a clutter free, clean work area
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Reliable transportation
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Other Requirements

• Must be able to distinguish the difference in color
• Must be able to perform simple math functions
• Ability to work both independently or within a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given and prescribed routines
• Familiarity with manufacturing environment and simple tools- some previous experience in a manufacturing environment required
• A self-starter who can multi-task
• High school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Daily duties may require lifting to 25 pounds
• Ability to lift above head frequently during a shift
• Able to stand for 8-10 hour shift in a very warm environment
