This October, in celebration of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, Jolly Pets is partnering with Animal Care Sanctuary (ACS) to bring joy and enrichment to dogs in need. Through our new collaboration, every Jolly Pets purchase helps support ACS’s missionand directly benefits shelter dogs who deserve love, stimulation, and hope, from now until October 12.
Animal Care Sanctuary, located in Milan, PA, has a long-standing history of turning compassion into action. Their mission centers on rescuing, caring for, and rehoming dogs and cats while also actively fighting overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.

In 2024, ACS hit a new record by performing 5,035 spay and neuter surgeries, surpassing the prior year’s 4,700 despite a lean veterinary team of just two vets and two vet techs.
Their clinic handledmore than 8,500 animal visits in 2024, covering wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, blood work, and more.
ACS offers a wide array of services: adoption, medical care (including surgical and dental), education and outreach, behavior support, and even a pre-veterinary internship program to nurture the next generation of animal care professionals.
Over its 55+ year history, ACS has evolved into adestination shelter and thought leader in humane practices and shelter medicine.
At Jolly Pets, we believe that play is fundamental to a dog’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Boredom, stress, and lack of stimulation are all too common in shelter environments and we’ve seen firsthand how the right toy or enrichment activity can lift a dog’s spirits, reduce anxiety, and make them more adoptable.
We’ve run successful campaigns in the past, like Jolly Madness, where we donated toys to local shelters and spotlighted adoptable dogs.
Through our donation program, Jolly Rescues, we’ve collaborated with shelters, rescue groups, and service dog organizations to supply toys, amplify adoptable dogs, and support enrichment efforts.
Partnering with ACS is a natural extension of our mission: we want playtime to extend beyond homes and into shelter kennels where dogs can benefit from this type of entertainment and stimulation most.
